IBA Comprehensive Training Program
100% Online · IBAO-Approved · Coursework completed in Just Six Months
Ready to become a certified International Behavior Analyst? Therapia’s IBA Comprehensive Training Program is a fully online, IBAO-aligned behavior analyst certification course designed for aspiring and practising ABA professionals anywhere in the world. Whether you’re pursuing your first behavior analysis credential or adding an internationally recognised qualification to your existing practice, this program gives you a structured, accredited, and achievable path to certification — completed in as little as six months.
The International Behavior Analyst (IBA) credential is issued by the International Behavior Analyst Organization (IBAO). To sit the IBA Examination, candidates must first complete a minimum of 270 hours of instruction across seven Required Educational Objective (REO) sections, delivered through an IBAO Approved Content Provider.
Therapia is an IBAO Approved Content Provider. This program delivers the full 270-hour requirement — from Core Concepts through Ethics — in a single guided, cohort-based online course, with live instruction, structured self-study, and the documentation you’ll need when you register for the exam. Supervision is arranged separately, on your own timeline.
Why Train With Therapia
Certification-ready in just six months. Our accelerated 27-week schedule takes you from enrolment to exam-eligible in about six months — faster than many part-time behavior analyst certification pathways, without cutting a single instructional hour. (27 weeks · ~6 months)
270 hours, fully mapped to the IBAO Handbook. All 74 Required Educational Objectives across Sections 1–7 are delivered in full — nothing summarised, nothing skipped — and tracked week by week so the hours are evidenced, not just claimed. (Sections 1–7 · 74 REOs)
Built around a global clock, not a local one. Live sessions run 4:00–6:30pm Melbourne, Australia time on Saturdays and Sundays — an evening slot for candidates across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and a workable morning or midday slot across the Americas. (4:00–6:30pm Melbourne · Sat & Sun)
Live instruction, then time to make it stick. Every module’s full slide deck is taught live over Zoom with narration and demonstration — including live discrete-trial teaching, live shaping, and a live-run functional analysis. The matching workbook and quiz follow across the week, at your own pace. (5 hrs live + 5 hrs async weekly)
A curriculum that builds in a deliberate order. Core concepts first, then measurement, single-case design, assessment, intervention, teaching methods, and ethics last — each phase assumes the one before it, the way a real caseload does. (7 phases · 27 weeks)
A clear path to the IBA Examination. Finish all 27 weeks and pass every module quiz, and you receive a completion certificate itemised against every REO section — exactly the documentation the IBAO asks for when you register to sit the exam. (Certificate on completion)
Supervision, on your own timeline. This course covers coursework only — so you’re never paying for supervision hours before you’re ready to start them. Supervised practice is a separate requirement, arranged independently once you’re ready to begin it. (Not bundled · arranged separately)

Fast-Track Your ABA Career
Looking for the fastest way to become a certified behavior analyst online? Traditional ABA certification pathways can take years to complete part-time. Therapia’s IBA Comprehensive Training Program compresses the full IBAO-required curriculum into a focused six-month online course — without sacrificing depth, live instruction, or hands-on demonstration. It’s designed for working professionals, career changers, and international candidates who want a credentialed, internationally recognised qualification in applied behavior analysis without pausing their career or relocating.
Whether you’re searching for “IBA certification online,” “behavior analyst certification course,” or “how to become an international behavior analyst,” this program is built to get you there in six months flat — fully accredited, fully live, and fully documented for your IBA Examination application.
Who This Program Is For
- Professionals ready to close the gap in underserved communities — across much of South and Southeast Asia, qualified behaviour analysts are scarce to non-existent, and you could be the first credentialed IBA in your region.
- RBTs and paraprofessionals ready to move into a credentialed analyst-level role
- Educators, allied health professionals, and clinicians adding a formal ABA qualification to their practice
- Staff at international ABA providers, schools, and early intervention services working toward IBAO accreditation
Candidates will need reliable internet access and availability for live sessions on Saturday and Sunday evenings (Melbourne time) for the full 27 weeks.
Eligibility for IBA Certification
The IBA credential is awarded by the IBAO once a candidate has met its educational, experience, and examination requirements. Broadly, candidates reach eligibility through one of two educational pathways:
- Master’s/Graduate Route — a master’s degree (or regional equivalent) in behavior analysis or a related field.
- Coursework Route — completion of a 270-hour IBAO-approved training program covering all seven REO sections, delivered through an IBAO Approved Content Provider such as Therapia. This program is designed to fully satisfy that requirement.
Alongside the educational component, IBAO certification also requires 1,500 hours of supervised practice and 75 hours of direct supervision from an approved IBAO supervisor (a 1:20 ratio), followed by a pass on the IBA Examination itself. Professionals who already hold a recognised credential (such as BCBA, BCaBA, or QBA) may be eligible for an expedited addition pathway rather than starting the full process.
This course covers the 270-hour coursework requirement only. Supervised practice and direct supervision are a separate requirement, arranged independently, and candidates should confirm current eligibility criteria, exam requirements, and country-specific considerations directly with the IBAO before enrolling.
A Clear Path to the IBA Certification
Completion of this 270-hour program, including supervision enables you to become eligible to sit for the IBA exam. Supervised practice is a separate requirement, arranged independently. Therapia’s supervsion programme is available to candidates on a case by case basis depending upon caseload, duration and country of residence.
Pricing & Regional Access
We believe an internationally recognised behavior analysis credential shouldn’t be out of reach because of where you live. That’s why the IBA Comprehensive Training Program is priced across three country tiers — low, middle, and high income — so the cost reflects local purchasing power rather than a single global rate. Every tier includes the full 270 hours, live instruction, and completion certificate; the only difference is the price.
| Country Tier | Full Price | Pay-in-Full (10% off) | Monthly Plan |
| Low Income — Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Philippines & other eligible countries | $2,000 AUD | $1,800 AUD | $333 AUD × 6 |
| Middle Income — India, Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Brazil, South Africa & other eligible countries | $3,000 AUD | $2,700 AUD | $500 AUD × 6 |
| High Income — Gulf, Europe, USA & other high-income countries | $4,000 AUD | $3,600 AUD | $667 AUD × 6 |
Pay in full and save 10%, or spread the same total cost across 6 equal monthly instalments at no extra charge — whichever suits your budget. Country tier is confirmed at enrolment based on country of residence.
Early Bird: register by 1 November 2026 and save an additional 10% off your tier’s full price, on top of the pay-in-full discount if you choose it.
Not sure which tier applies, or your country isn’t listed above? Get in touch and we’ll confirm your rate.
Why does pricing vary by country? We set each tier relative to local cost of living and average professional salaries, so the program stays genuinely affordable where incomes are lower, while reflecting fair market value elsewhere. Every candidate, in every tier, receives the exact same 270 hours, live instruction, and certification pathway.
Supervision
Looking ahead to supervision? The 270-hour coursework in this program can be completed entirely on its own — supervised practice is a separate requirement you can arrange with any IBAO-approved supervisor. Get in touch and we’ll help you plan your next step once you’re ready.
Enrolment
Seats are kept small so the live sessions stay useful. Each cohort runs as one group through all 27 weeks together, so class sizes are capped to keep discussion, demonstration, and Q&A genuinely live — not a webinar.
Don’t wait years for your ABA credential. Enrol today and be exam-ready in just six months, with the structure, live mentorship, and IBAO-aligned documentation to back it up.
